In Triobesetzung – Dany Glinz, Sänger und Gitarrist / Nadine Schnyder, E-Bass / Baldi Baldinger, Drums – braut diese Band ihren dampfenden Zaubertrank mal über schwerem Feuer, mal köchelt sie ihn auf kleiner Flamme. Ihre Musik ist ein exquisites Gemisch aus rohem, ungewaschenem Rock&Roll, erlesenen Melodien und leckeren Gitarrenlicks.
Sie ernten taufrisch, was in den 60ern und 70ern von Bands wie z.B. The Kinks, Led Zeppelin und Cream gesät wurde, und reichern deftig an. Wem The White Stripes, The Hives oder Jet schmecken, der langt auch hier herzhaft zu und schöpft nach.
Count Gabba debuted in March 2009 as a solo-artist with the album «The Lady’s Gone. The Song Remains». This self-confessed rocker was by then working with various Rock-, Punk- and Metal-Bands. In 2010 he released the follow-up «Country Noir».
After many personnel changes, Count Gabba released the album «The Dance Decade» in 2015 with the current line-up including bassplayer Clodophon The Breakwater, Tom Tomahawk on drums and Felicio Del Toro on Guitar, Mandolin and Banjo.
The musical roots of the new album «Phoenix» can still be found in country, folk and americana. But the profound lyrics are performed with a lot of defiant punk attitude, tons of rock’n’roll and a 100% of lust for life.
